Key Responsibilities
Configure and design insurance products using Product Factory framework.
Develop a user interface (UI) targeted specifically for insurance agents, aimed at expediting the quoting process.
Analyze system requirements specific to client needs and provide consultation to client developers on the implementation of new functionality using EIS frameworks and suite of products.
Develop gateway (DXP) layer to expose internal products to external systems via REST endpoints.
Configure business rules via BLS engine.
Apply best practices to software development process, including test driven development, design pattern application, and clean code practices.
Work with the following Programming Languages and Technologies: Java, TypeScript, XML, SQL, REST; Frameworks and Libraries: Spring, JSP, JSF Hibernate, jUnit, Mockito, React, EIS Product Factory; Development environments and tools: JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code, Splunk, Kafka, Zookeeper; Application/Web Servers: Apache Tomcat; Source Control: Git; and Build Systems: Maven, and Oracle DB.
Various Worksites—position is a hybrid-remote opportunity in Phoenix, AZ, position may involve travel/relocation to anticipated and unanticipated client worksites throughout the United States
Skills Knowledge And Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered, or at least TWO (2) years of experience with the following:
Configuring and designing insurance products using Product Factory framework, including analyzing system requirements
