About the job  

As the product architect for the creative automation SaaS platform, you will set the standards for product architecture and vision; working closely with engineering and product teams delivering cloud-first, scalable platforms that deliver millions of transactions for our multi-tenant customers.

You will help us keep our engineering focus and steer our engineering teams in the right direction, driving improvements to technology and architecture throughout our business.

You will already be an experienced leader, someone who can support others, manage complex problems and have a track record of inspiring teams to be more effective, letting them be more focussed with clear and decisive direction.

Key responsibilities: 

• Innovation & Leadership: Drive innovation and technology evolution within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological advancement
• Cross-Domain Architecture Design: Design and implement architectures across business and technology domains
• Architectural Vision: Formulate and communicate the overarching architectural vision, aligning with business objectives and product strategy including risk management and compliance
• Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure architectural solutions meet product and technological needs. Be the "to-go" person for architecture questions
• Lead best practices development in engineering for the entire organization by helping to solve complex technology challenges to realise an ambitious product strategy

• Previous architectural experience in a SaaS product company, demonstrating an active role in complex, distributed cloud platforms; comprising front and back-end services
• A strong career comprising prior experience as a principal / staff engineer (or equivalent) in a B2B SaaS environment
• Ability to build strong trust-based relationships with engineers, product leaders, and key business stakeholders
• Extensive experience with databases data modelling - both RDBMS and NoSQL
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and emerging technologies including AI.  Experience with DevOps / GCP based infrastructures
• Excellent English communication skills and a positive attitude
• A leadership and communication stye that is both approachable and collaborative

 Nice to have:  

• Experience and/or affinity with video and image rendering technologies
• Understanding and/or prior experience Digital Asset Management
• Understanding or prior experience of content marketing clients or services
• Understanding or prior experience of identity platforms and services
