Technical Support Engineer (Remote)


About the Role:


Our client is seeking their first dedicated Technical Support Engineer to be the primary point of contact for all customer technical support needs. This is a critical role where you will work closely with customers, product teams, and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. The role provides ample opportunity for solving complex problems while contributing to the company's product development.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Take full ownership of first-level technical support for all customers.
  • Triage and resolve incoming support tickets during business hours.
  • Develop tooling and customer-facing functionalities to improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the company’s offerings.
  • Ensure thorough resolution of technical issues and maintain customer satisfaction.


Requirements:


  • Proficiency with tools like Postman (or curl) for replicating customer issues using REST APIs.
  • Ability to write workable, non-production code in languages like Python, TypeScript, or Ruby.
  • Passion for working directly with customers and ensuring their success.
  • Enthusiasm for solving complex technical problems with a data-driven approach.
  • Bonus: Proficiency in SQL.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience or 4+ years in technical support.
