This consultant position is part of the goFintel project within the framework of the "UNOCT-UNCCT Global coordinated programme on detecting, preventing and countering the financing of terrorism".
The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the technical lead of the goFintel team.
This is a short term engagement (a few months)
and we are looking for expertise with Graph DB Expert to execute the following duties:
• Design and extend the graph database data model we already have, and propose solutions for the following challenges we are facing:
o Support manual data modifications
o Keeping track of the history of changes of data
o Provide a revert (“undo”) functionality
o Handling of concurrent graph data modifications
o Consolidate/summarize specific relationship patterns
What we are looking for:
• Minimum of 3 years of of hands-on experience with designing, developing and deploying analytical platforms and tools, including algorithms, data modeling for graph databases, data integration pipelines and infrastructure.
• High proficiency in graph databases and graph data modeling
• Experience with Gremlin Query Language is required
• Experience with any Apache TinkerPop-enabled graph system is required (i.e., JanusGraph, Amazon Neptune, Cosmos DB, etc.)
• In-depth understanding of Python
• Experience with Apache Airflow is desired
