Job Description

Job Title: SharePoint Developer

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Remote (Work from anywhere)


About the Role: The client, a U.S.-based consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer for a 6-month contract. The role involves working on a key project related to enhancing and optimizing the client’s SharePoint environment. The SharePoint Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build solutions that align with business objectives, streamline processes, and improve user experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and maintain custom SharePoint sites and applications.
  • Integrate SharePoint with third-party systems and other Microsoft tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for SharePoint governance and architecture.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet the client’s needs.
  • Develop workflows, dashboards, and forms to enhance user experience.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and efficiency of the SharePoint environment.
  • Participate in regular client meetings and provide project status updates.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer.
  • Expertise in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Flow.
  • Experience with integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, OneDrive).
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
