Software Engineer (Fullstack) in TAIWAN

ABOUT THE ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES

The job is based in Taiwan and fully remote. We ONLY consider candidates who are either Taiwan citizen, or people who don't require visa sponsorship.

• Collaborating closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to create outstanding product experiences.
• Craft clean, maintainable code with solid unit tests to ensure the stability and longevity of our codebase.
• Design and implement well-structured, scalable code architectures and APIs that provide strong technical support for our products.
• Engage in building, deploying, and scaling web services, ensuring the product runs smoothly and scales as needed.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the system to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Demonstrate flexibility in responding to the evolving needs of the team, working together to achieve project goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• More than 2 years of software development experience in a fast-paced SaaS startup, with a proven ability to thrive in a remote working environment.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, enabling you to solve complex problems effectively.
• Skilled in JavaScript, Node.js, Express, NestJS, GraphQL, MySQL, AWS, React, and Next.js (for modern server-side rendered web applications).
• Demonstrates a proactive, fast-learning attitude, combined with a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Fluent Chinese and Intermediate-level English proficiency, sufficient for clear communication in a professional environment.
