Work Detail

At Mercari India Workplace, we have a vision of "Drive your business with a Mercari-like, exciting, safe and secure Workplace. While communicating with team members and external vendors, we promote improvement activities, planning and implementation of new solutions, etc. The specific work content is as follows.

Roles & Responsibilities

Minimum of 5 years of Office and facility management role including:

  • Daily office and facility management to provide an exciting and fun workplace
  • Facilities, security, relocation/expansion and liaise with external contractors and Setting up workstations, backups
  • Event Management: SPOC for all internal events from start to finish including logistics and people collaboration
  • IT service management such as PC setup, account setting, inventory management
  • SPOC for procurement of the office equipment, software and supplies. Responsible for creating Purchase orders and tracking the same.
  • Interact and maintain working relationships with external stakeholders like vendors, consultants etc
  • Visitor management - escort Mercari guests from the ground floor to the office

Requirements

  • People who share Mercari's mission and values
  • Office management / facility management experience which includes office construction/relocation project management in line with management strategy and vision, and office operation and improvement work after construction
  • IT Services related tasks such as PC setup, account setting, inventory management and various procurement activities
  • Experience in discovering issues on your own, formulating new proposals and improvement plans, implementing them, and producing high results
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills to handle the project with various stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to go the extra mile in assisting with various employee requests and queries
  • Able to multitask and to prioritize workload effectively
  • Project management skills as well as good experience of managing people in a product company

Nice to have

  • Experience in managing office facilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced venture company/global company/Internet service company
  • Data analysis ability (experience using bigquery, etc.)
