Payroll & Benefit Specialist in UNITED KINGDOM

As Payroll & Benefit Specialist, you will be responsible for all payroll and benefit operations (starters, leavers, changes) ensuring strong data integrity and accuracy, and providing an exceptional employee experience. We are seeking a candidate who has proven experience and can hit the ground running.


This position will be a temporary 6 month contract starting on the 30th September paying £20.00 per hour.


THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE


Duties & Responsibilities:


Benefits:

Process all starters, leavers and changes for all UK & Ireland employees. Ensuring accurate and seamless flow of information between employees, vendors, payrolls, Workday (our HRIS), following standard operating procedures where applicable.

Support EMEA Compensation on annual benefit reviews, and employee enrolment window.


Payroll:

Partner with our EMEA Payroll team to coordinate the input, review, processing and output of UK & Ireland payrolls.

Liaise with payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Timely response to employee payroll queries from shared Payroll mailbox.


Requirements:

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Benefits and Payroll Administration environment towards a UK and ideally an international client group.
  • Experience in payroll reconciliation.
  • Experience with Workday HR information system (preferred)


Skillset

Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and discretion.

High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work.

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Proven ability to partner collaboratively with external vendors (payroll, benefits etc).

Strong technology skills (Workday HCM, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc).

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills ability.

Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and critical deadlines simultaneously to successful completion in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with partners and stakeholders, in a remote and multi-country setting.
