Front-End Developer – React / TypeScript - £500-600 per day - Outside IR35 – 3-6 months - Remote

Overview:

We are currently partnered with a market-leading financial services organisation who are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer for a 3-6 month, fully remote contract. You will be heavily involved developing and enhancing a client-facing tool to improve user experience and accessibility.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript
• Implement reusable UI components with Storybook
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Integrate data visualisation elements for presenting complex financial information clearly and effectively
• Make REST API calls to retrieve and update data from backend services.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the stability and reliability of the front-end codebase
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Storybook for building UI components
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel)
• Experience integrating with REST APIs
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git

Package:

• 3-6 month contract
• £500-600 per day outside IR35
