Sales & Business Development Leader - AI & Edge Computing in QATAR

This significantly backed US company offers groundbreaking solutions designed to enhance AI utilization wherever data is gathered and analyzed, unlocking AI's potential to drive significant advancements in how we operate and enhance our daily lives.


We require a Sales and Business Development Leader with suitable experiences to lead all sales efforts in Qatar which will be a strategic market for the company. They will draw on firsthand knowledge of market-leading customers and ecosystems to propel pipeline development of use cases that support design wins and revenue growth.


Preference for candidates already based in Qatar, however full relocation assistance is provided for candidates already in the gulf region with knowledge of the Qatari market.


RESPONSIBILITIES


• Build a robust opportunity pipeline in the GCC region and establish long-term business relationships with partners and customers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable customer success for an optimal time to revenue.

• Manage customer expectations for a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Expand and leverage customer ecosystem relationships in the edge computing market.

• Build effective relationships with industry-specific partners, channels, and distributors.

• Establish processes to drive effective joint business planning and execution with partners.

• Manage monthly forecasting, sales opportunities, and account business plans.

• Create compelling presentations and proposals that highlight the technical features and benefits of products and solutions.

• Conduct product demonstrations and articulate the value proposition to clients.

• Gather client feedback to contribute to product enhancements and improvements.

• Meet KPIs related to Prospecting, Engagement, Quotations and Bookings

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


• Ability to demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in closing deals.

• 10+ years of business development and sales experience in technology.

• Hands-on experience selling AI Computing / Semiconductor products and solutions.

• Deep experience and strong ecosystem network in Embedded and AI Computing markets in GCC region.

• Strong experience and knowledge of use cases for Defense and Government sectors.

• Strong experience and knowledge of use cases in end-markets such as retail, industrial, manufacturing, security, healthcare, medical, and smart city.

• Technical foundation and strong business knowledge of the AI industry with skills to provide value-add in solving partner and customer challenges.

• Proven track record of successfully growing and exceeding revenue targets for innovative, new, and groundbreaking industry solutions.

• Experience in identifying and qualifying prospects for product alignment to enable efficient paths to revenue opportunities.

• Experience with pricing strategies, channel economics, and negotiation tactics.

• Experience with leading alliances and driving complex deal negotiations
