Work Schedule: Mon-Fri onsite in Salisbury, NC with max of 20% travel
Salary: Up to $135k base + 10% bonus
Requirements: 5+ years of developing software for machinery using C# + Machine Vision platforms

What You Will Be Doing
Our Software & Automation Engineers combines the role of a Software & Automation Engineer with a high level Application Engineer.
You will first and foremost lead the development of customized turnkey 2D vision & ID solutions for a wide range of industries. These solutions will combine a wide range of technologies including electro-mechanical, database, software, database, optics and lighting.
The top focus for this role is focused on developing software that is used to integrate robotics, PLCs/HMIs, machine vision and motion control systems. With over 80% of our projects being custom R&D projects, no two days will be a like!
In addition you will serve as a high level Application Engineer, traveling to custom sites for complex installs, assisting with highly technical trainings and even maintenance and troubleshooting.

Please be advised this role requires up to 20% domestic and international travel
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of developing software for machinery utilizing C#, in addition to:
- A.S or B.S. in an Engineering discipline
- Familiarity with at least one major Machine Vision platform
- Basic PLC/HMI understanding
- Reading electrical/mechanical drawings
- Excellent Communication
- Comfortable presenting to executives
- Troubleshooting
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With
- Advanced Degree
- Field/Service/Application Engineering experience
- Preventative Maintenance
- Basic electrical skills
- Basic mechanical skills
