Key Responsibilities:
Developing cloud and microservice business solutions on various platforms to meet user needs and business requirements.
Concepting development, architectural reviews, development, and operations.
Developing, deploying, and maintaining automotive backend microservices based on Java, JavaScript, or Python, powered by AWS.
Utilising DevOps principles to create, test, and deploy backend solutions and internal tools using modern cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
Contributing to technology and architectural decisions.
Collaborating with your team and other teams on backend and tool development queries.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience.
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or in a related role.
Experience with backend development using Java and other technologies such as Node.js, focusing on RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture and integration (Kafka), and testing (JUnit, Mockito, ElasticMQ or similar).
Knowledge of Cloud environments.
Experience with mainframe integration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, or CDK.
Experience in Microservices.
Experience with logging and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of database design.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
