Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and services. As an AWS Network Engineer, he/she will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our AWS network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities
Implementing AWS network solutions to support internal applications and services
Configuring and maintaining AWS networking services such as VPC, EC2, ELB, and CloudFront
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define networking requirements for new projects
Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted service availability
Implementing and maintaining network security measures (SG, NACLS) to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
Troubleshooting network performance and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure scalability and efficiency
Document network configurations, and procedures
Must Haves
AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty certification is preferred
Proven experience implementing and maintaining AWS network infrastructure
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, IPSec VPN, and BGP
Hands-on experience with AWS networking services and tools
Proficiency in network security best practices and tools
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is recommended.
