The Backend Developer with ML position at Iris.ai is for bright and motivated people who enjoy dynamics and solving complex algorithmic and engineering challenges. You will be focused on Algorithms, Data structures and Multiprocessing while developing new features and services of our AI.

Job Responsibilities:
- Software development – specification, planning, implementation
- Self-management
- Close collaboration with research team
- Driving innovation
- Working in an agile process in a distributed team with limited connectivity
- Debugging and fixing problems in the existing code
- Ensuring up to date, high-quality documentation
- Ensuring project delivery on time
- Participation in the full process until product delivery
- Develop your own skills and take responsibilities for your own personal development in the field.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Solid understanding of multiprocessing / multithreading
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI or similar
- Operations with streams of data (data streaming)
- Knowledge of at least one of the following ML libraries (Tensorflow, Gensim, Pytorch or similar)
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment
- At least 3 years of experience in software development with Python
- Proficient analytical / problem-solving skills
- Fluent English
Great if you also have:
- Experience with AWS, setting up data pipelines, operation with big amounts of data
- Knowledge and interest in Math and Statistics
- Web development
- Participation in research projects
