Role: Release Manager

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: Long Term

Work Hours: US Time

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM)

Responsibilities

  • Manage our regular release cycle.
  • Manage iOS and Android app releases on AppStoreConnect and Google Play Console.
  • Oversee configuration of our test and production environments.
  • Provide release status updates to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the creation of both internal and client-facing release notes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to release processes.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, QA and Product teams on addressing ad-hoc requirements.
  • Continuously improve the release process to address the changes in technology and the growing complexity of our system.

Must Haves

  • 2+ years of experience working with production software applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to cope with a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work with Engineering team to solve technical problems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Agile methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience managing release cycles.
  • Previous experience managing iOS and Android app releases.
  • Previous experience managing multiple environment configurations.
  • Ability to work with command line interface and code editors.
  • Experience with CircleCI or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with LaunchDarkly or similar feature flag management software.
  • Previous exposure to QA testing practices.
