Your challenges

  • Develop and test scalable, low-latency applications, APIs, and plugins that follow the highest coding standards for customers, internal teams, and third-party developers.
  • Write code according to our internal standards, ensuring style, maintainability, and best practices for high scalability.
  • Mentor and guide team members through code reviews and pair programming sessions to foster their growth.
  • Troubleshoot applications during development and deployment, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Implement automated unit and integration tests and conduct code reviews to enhance code quality.
  • Collaborate with other teams to facilitate the successful deployment of new products and features.
  • Ensure consistency and maintainability of codebases for efficient development and maintenance.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in back-end development
  • Strong command of modern programming languages to tackle complex coding challenges with ease
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests and debugging server-side components
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of information security and data protection
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills


What’s Good To Have

  • Experience in Node.js or Perl
  • Experience with asynchronous programming and scalable systems
  • Familiarity with relational database design and/or open-source RDBMS systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency at using test-driven development (TDD) techniques to produce high-quality code
  • Deft in Docker and familiarity with microservices and scalable systems
  • Hands-on experience in Linux and other open-source platforms
  • Conversant with Redis (caching, in-memory data structure, and real-time data processing) and its integration within back-end systems
