We are looking for a motivated and experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. You will be a key contributor to our product and will immediately have a significant role in driving our platform forward in core areas. You will be part of the expansion of our platform, building highly performant APIs, high-throughput processing systems, and responsive interfaces.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Improve and evolve our modern Ruby on Rails-based applications
- Manage and deploy updates using various tools and platforms (GitHub Actions, AWS, Docker)
- Design and evolve the platform to scale to 100,000 transactions per minute
- Collaborate closely with other engineers to implement platform initiatives across teams
- Collaborate with external organizations to design and implement robust and performant integrations
- Employ secure coding practices
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly and work independently
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing in a continuous integration environment
- Experience using REST and/or GraphQL-based APIs
- Experience with CSS & HTML
- Experienced using git and git hosting platforms for version control and code review
- AWS experience is a plus but not required to start
- Must adapt to a work schedule with a 6-hour overlap between 8 AM to 5 PM on a (UTC-7) timezone.
