Relocation could be provided(case by case basis)We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead PHP Developer to oversee the development and implementation of web applications within our organization. As the lead developer, you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of PHP developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
2. Architect, design, and develop complex web applications using PHP and related technologies.
3. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
4. Establish coding standards, best practices, and development processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
5. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
6. Drive innovation and continuous improvement by researching new technologies, tools, and techniques.
7. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address issues to ensure on-time delivery.
8. Collaborate with other development teams and departments to integrate systems and optimize performance.
9. Provide technical leadership and support during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
10. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a senior PHP developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
3. Strong proficiency in PHP programming language and popular frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
4. Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers in an Agile environment.
5. In-depth knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
6. Expertise in relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
7. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
10. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
11. Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
