We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product XR Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and will be able to apply these principles to the design of XR products. A Designer will be responsible for leading the design of XR products from concept to launch.
Progressive team: you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create innovative, user-friendly products.
Together We Will:
Manage the product design lifecycle from concept to launch;
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create innovative and user-friendly products;
Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure that products meet the needs of users;
Stay up-to-date on the latest XR technologies and trends;
Create artifacts such as wireframes, user flows, functionality specs, prototypes, and high-fidelity design;
Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders;
Provide constructive and thoughtful feedback that creates a safe space to freely ideate and collaborate;
Be curious, open, positive, collaborative, and empathetic
Requirements
What We Will Need:
2+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on VR;
Foundational knowledge and experience using UX principles and UCD (user-centered design) methodologies;
Experience with a variety of XR technologies, including VR, AR, and MR;
Experience designing and integrating elements from the Adobe Creative Suite or other compositing packages;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Presentation skills, able to explain conceptual ideas and designs;
Portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and experience
Would Be a Plus:
Experience in product design, with a focus on XR;
General understanding of Unity programming for designing UX and developer communication
