Required Skills & Experience

• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep understanding of Ruby on rails, React on the front end, Graph Ql and Postgres database
• Experience leading and coordinating large infrastructural and architectural projects and rollouts
• Expressing company values through impeccable communication and self starter proven past.
• Improve and monitor user experiences that software engineers and engineering teams depend on during their day-to-day workflow
• Ability to architect, build and maintain configurable systems that unlock better workflows in foster care
• Can collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, technical account management, policy, and more

We are seeking a Principal Fullstack Engineer to join their high functioning engineering team on the West Coast. This full time, fully remote role will involve oversight the design, development, and deployment of scalable Ruby on Rails applications. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentorship of junior engineers, and will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and innovative environment across multiple teams in the organization. They will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure software systems, and will work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Ensuring code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration is also a key responsibility. Candidates should have over 7 years of software development experience, with expertise specifically on Ruby on Rails. Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects is essential. The core technologies this team is using is Ruby on rails, React on the front end, Graph ql and Postgres database where the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of these tools. The desired salary range for this full time, remote role is between $230,000- 260,000 annually.
