Embedded Software Engineer | £45-60k | Newport | Hybrid | Relocation support available
My client is an industry leading electronic design company, engaged in a wide variety of projects for international clients.
They are expanding their R&D department off the back of several very successful years, and are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team.
Main duties:
+ Optimising novel and legacy embedded software for efficiency
+ Developing embedded software for microcontrollers and microprocessors
+ Collaborate with hardware engineers to define software requirements and specifications
Skills and Experience Required:
+ Experience in programming languages such as C, C++
+ Strong understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor architectures
+ Familiarity with debugging tools and methodologies
+ Experience with embedded Linux
Bonus:
+ Knowledge of hardware design and PCB layout
+ Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., BLE, Wi-Fi)
