Digital IC Design Team / Tech Lead in NETHERLANDS

Our client, a fast-growing fabless Semiconductor company is seeking a Digital IC Design Team / Tech Lead to join them in the Netherlands.

As a successful scale-up, our client has achieved an astonishing breakthrough in wireless technology and is now ready to unleash their product to the global markets, specifically in the areas of IoT wearables, asset tracking and smart watches.

They seek a Digital IC Design Lead to head up their digital ASIC team and subsequently expand this group going forwards. The Digital IC Design Lead will be involved in and oversee the complete digital IC design and verification process, and collaborate with the analog, CAD, system and test teams to achieve rapid silicon bring-up and time to production release.

The right candidate for the role of Digital IC Design Lead will be:

• BSc / MSc /PHd in Electronics and Electronical Engineering, or similar
• Circa 10+ years' in Digital IC Design / IP development with strong hands-on RTL design skills in VHDL / Verilog
• Good understanding of the whole design flow - RTL2GDS
• Significant tape-out experience of complex chips
• An established technical leader - with notable experience in project / technical / people leadership
• Able to guide, mentor and motivate junior engineers
• A fluent communicator in English
• Understanding of RF / IOT / WiFi / Bluetooth / Wireless systems is a bonus
