Full Remote working from anywhere in the UK.
Our client is a well-known US fashion brand with over 20,000 employees and 3000+ stores globally. They have established enterprise cloud, datacentre, infrastructure and database teams across North America, Mexico and India and are looking to grow their technology team in Europe.
You will be their first Cloud Ops/Devops Engineer for EMEA and likely to lead a small team in the near future. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about applying cloud technologies and DevOps practices to solving business problems in a unique and innovative way and to help accelerate our digital business transformation:
-50% Devops + 50% cloud operations;
-Managing and monitoring enterprise Azure Cloud infrastructure, services and apps
-Designing and implementing Azure DevOp, CI/CD pipelines, automation and IaC
-Proactively monitors cloud-based service through development and continuous integration;
-Respond, troubleshoot, and resolve alerts
-Cloud Deployments, Updates and Maintenance, security vulnerability and remediation
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree or higher;
-Experience using two or more of the following toolsets: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, XL Release, Artifactory, GitHub, Continuum, PowerShell
-Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including routing, subnetting and load balancing.
-Experience using automation to manage public cloud infrastructure
-Knowledge of managing hybrid private and public clouds
-Fluent English
-Willing to take on call responsibilities
-Self starter
Permanent role, full remote working, offer up to £50k base plus bonus and benefits. They also provide training for professional certifications and career progression to tech lead in EMEA.
