About The Role

As a Senior Product Manager in the Segments Demand (Discoverability & Conversion track) you will strengthen our team of product leaders. You and your team will:

  • Drive awareness & consideration for all of our traveler segments by working closely with our Marketing Business Unit
  • Own the look-to-book funnel on our web platforms for the Home segment
  • Provide guidance to other teams across the department working on our smaller segments (e.g. pet travel)


In addition you’ll closely work with two Apps Guest Experience teams, and collectively contribute to the company's strategic priorities and grow Homes’ share to the accommodations business.

This is a unique opportunity where you’ll get the chance to lead a horizontal scope : collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Segment traveller needs while driving the strategy and execution of your defined product roadmap. Depending on the customer problem to solve, your team will join forces with Marketing, Search (ABU + Marketplace), Intent Discovery, Data and Machine Learning (TLV), US and Strategy - giving you the opportunity to maximize impact by joining the dots across the entire traveller journey.

This role provides high visibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced ever changing environment - while influencing key business metrics such as: Active Home users, Home ABRN.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision and strategy, inspiring teams and colleagues to achieve it by effectively evangelizing the message.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes initiatives based on impact and strategic value. Measure and report the team’s progress and impact to the business.
  • Regularly communicate product performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships and establish an engagement and operating model with key stakeholders both within and outside the department. Solicit feedback and advocate for the needs of Segment travellers assertively.
  • Comfortably operate in ambiguous situations, contribute to pivot or persevere decisions, and willing to take big and bold steps to deliver on an ambitious roadmap.
  • Translate market trends, customer feedback, and internal data insights into actionable plans for growth and innovation.


Role Qualifications And Requirements

  • Proven experience in building customer centric products as a Senior Product Manager, with preferably some experience in (performance) marketing
  • Excellent communication, motivator, and influencing skills with senior management. Experience in writing clear and concise product requirements, status updates and product results.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying & navigating through complex stakeholder management scenarios across different business units
  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to structure issues and propose alternative solutions while maintaining a protagonist mindset
  • Ability to work closely with UX talents, continually raising the bar on quality, functionality and scalability. Able to balance product and tech deliverables.
  • Bias to customer centric solutions with a demonstrated ability to develop experimentation strategies that measure short and long term success
  • Fluency in articulating product vision & strategy with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
