.Net Manual QA in MEXICO

Tential is currently seeking a skilled Manual QA Tester to join our team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's .NET development environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing, exposure to SQL databases, and a strong testing mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Execute test cases and conduct manual testing on applications developed in the .NET environment, ensuring the quality and functionality meet established standards.
• Financial Domain Expertise: Apply your understanding of the finance industry to assess and verify the functionality and performance of financial and back office applications.
• SQL Exposure: Utilize your SQL knowledge to conduct database testing, ensuring data integrity and accurate interaction between applications and databases.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall quality of deliverables.
• Defect Reporting: Clearly document and communicate defects, providing detailed information to assist developers in understanding and resolving issues.
• Automation (Preferred): Contribute to automation efforts, leveraging tools like Selenium, to increase efficiency in testing processes.

Published Required Skills:

• Manual Testing: Proven experience in manual testing within a .NET development environment.
• Financial Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with finance-related applications, processes, and industry standards.
• SQL Exposure: Experience working with SQL databases for testing purposes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow test cases and document results.
• Automation Experience (Preferred): Exposure to or experience with automation testing tools is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in manual testing, with exposure to .NET development.
• Knowledge of common testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with financial software and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
