Product Owner with spoken French (relocation to Brussels, Belgium) in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented Product Owner willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and strategic vision of our software platforms, focusing on the utilities and energy sectors. This role is perfect for someone with a robust software development background, proficient in French/Dutch and English, and skilled in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years as a Product Owner in software development, specifically with portal/platform development.
• Language Skills: Strong proficiency in either French or Dutch, AND English.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Agile/Scrum: Proven track record of working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Sector Experience: Previous experience or affinity in the utilities or energy sector is a plus, but not a must.

Responsibilities:

• Define the product vision and roadmap, aligning product strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide projects from conception to launch.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management.
• Serve as the customer advocate, articulating the user’s and the market’s needs during product development.
• Prioritize product backlogs and coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
• Ensure product aligns with industry standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor project progress, anticipate potential issues, and pivot as necessary to address challenges.

Remote Policy:

• Hybrid work model with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
