We are looking for Passionate and hard-working Cloud Support Engineer who want to live and work in Germany/Australia/Canada or Singapore region under Work and PR Visa.
The ideal candidate will help clients or internal teams with technical issues related to cloud computing services. Their primary responsibilities revolve around providing technical assistance, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring smooth operations within a cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines, containers, storage solutions, and networking components within cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or cloud provider-specific services) for deploying and scaling cloud resources.
- Set up monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus) to track system performance, resource usage, and application health metrics.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-based systems, including regular data backups, snapshot management, and recovery testing.
- Configure virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, and load balancers to ensure secure and efficient communication between cloud resources.
- Keep cloud infrastructure and software components up to date by managing patching processes for operating systems, applications, and dependencies.
- Schedule maintenance windows and perform patch deployments without disrupting services.
- Analyze system performance metrics and conduct performance tuning activities to optimize resource usage, improve response times, and enhance scalability.
- Should have a passion for technology and troubleshooting complex customer problems.
- Should be able to communicate effectively with other team members as well as members of the cross functional teams.
- Respond to and resolve incidents, service disruptions, and technical issues affecting cloud services.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for cloud-based systems.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of prior experience is required.
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure & Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, IP addressing, and routing.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows) and experience with system administration tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and best practices is essential.
