Datamart Reporting Architect in MALAYSIA

EV Search’s client is a boutique next-generation technology company with strong business interests in Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Regulatory Compliance. They focus on providing technology consulting and services to implement Risk Management and Risk Analytics Systems for Financial Institutions.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (This position supports visa and relocation packages for expat candidates).

Responsibilities

• Design and architect datamart solutions to meet reporting requirements for Murex, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and VaR modules.
• Develop data models and schemas to support efficient storage and retrieval of data within the Oracle database.
• Integrate data from various sources including Murex, external market data feeds, and internal systems to populate the datamarts.
• Define and implement a robust reporting framework leveraging Oracle database features and SQL querying capabilities.
• Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline data processing, ETL workflows, and report generation tasks.
• Optimize database queries, data processing pipelines, and report generation processes for improved performance and efficiency.
• Provide support for Murex environment provisioning, configuration, and maintenance as needed.
• Document technical specifications, data models, architecture diagrams, and implementation details for reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data architecture, particularly in designing and implementing datamart solutions for financial systems.
• Strong expertise in Murex platform, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and VaR modules is essential.
• Proficiency in Oracle database management, including data modeling, SQL querying, and performance tuning.
• Good to have experience with Python/ Java for scripting and automation tasks. Proficiency in SQL Server 12 is required.
• Experience working with open systems (Unix/Linux) environments is necessary.
• Prior experience with Murex environment support, provisioning, and configuration is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and preferably within a banking environment
