Berlin | Relocation Package
We are currently staffing a Head of Engineering role @ a well-funded social networking startup for the gaming industry in Berlin.
In this hands-on role, you will build an exciting cross-platform software product for gamers. You are responsible for the technical vision/architecture, its implementation and managing the engineering team. Initially, you will do more hands-on programming yourself, but with growing team size, you will focus more and more on managing and coaching the team.
The core tech stack is JavaScript based with React.js, Node.js and MongoDB. Experience with GCP, Tailwind, Firebase, Next.js, and Flutter/ React Native does help, but is not required.
Aside of your senior software engineering and technical leadership experience (at least project - based), you should have decent attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a relentless drive to improve yourself and help others to improve.
Additionally, you should have decent English language (C1) skills. German language skills are beneficial, but not mandatory.
| REMOTE SETUP
This role is primarily office-based in a lovely location in Berlin-Mitte, with the flexibility to work occasionally from home if urgently needed. Your relocation costs will be covered if you have to move for this role.
