The Role

As a standalone Talent Acquisition Partner at TryHackMe, reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in our mission to build and scale our global teams with top talent, especially in the technical domain.


You will be the driving force behind attracting, sourcing, and hiring into TryHackMe’s growing teams, as well as managing the onboarding and probation period experience of new joiners.

You will have plentiful opportunity to be involved in project work surrounding recruitment and onboarding, and will be the subject-matter expert when it comes to developing and delivering new initiatives to constantly improve the candidate experience - from job posting, sourcing, global hiring heat maps, interviews, onboarding, DI&E strategy and more!


You’ll work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop targeted recruitment strategies, and provide support and training to peers on how to effectively conduct interviews, as well as personalising interview structure and stages for varying departments and roles.


Essential skills & Requirements

  • Recent Technical Hiring Experience: Although we are seeking a TA Partner with generalist expertise, it’s essential that you have proven recent experience in recruiting for technical roles for a start-up/ scale up sized business, including software engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and other technical positions. We’re looking for someone who can guide us on ‘hot spots’ on the map for finding & attracting great technical talent.
  • Strong Sourcing Skills: Expertise in sourcing and engaging with passive candidates based globally, through various channels such as LinkedIn and other hiring platforms, ideally tin the tech space.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment for a global workforce: Experience managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer negotiation. It’s also ideal that you have been involved in the onboarding of new employees, with underlying knowledge of key localised hiring/ employment law requirements for a global workforce.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and leadership to understand role requirements and provide strategic recruitment advice. Proven experience of coaching and supporting hiring managers with global hiring strategies and interview skills are beneficial for your application.
  • Data-Driven: Experience using data to inform recruitment strategies and optimise the hiring process. Being able to understand and provide business-insights relating to hiring data will be beneficial in this role.
  • Adaptable, agile and exceptional communication skills: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. It’s preferred that you have experience working in a scale-up environment before. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must-have, to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Passion for Cybersecurity: A genuine interest in cybersecurity and a desire to contribute to the growth of a leading platform in this space is a plus!

Our Hiring Process:

Stage One: Intro call with Rosie Graham, HR Manager (30 mins)

Stage Two: Technical Take-Home Task which will be focussed on TA

Stage Three: Final Interview with Rosie Graham & Ashu Savani, Co-Founder - to include a presentation of the take-home task and questions (1 hour)
