Senior Ruby Developer / Backend (m/f/d)

YOUR MISSION

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Develop and maintain APIs for use by frontends, or for internal system communication
• Actively monitor systems, identify bugs and bottlenecks and design solutions to the problems
• Work with Product Managers to extend applications with new functionalities

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT and at least 3 years of experience as Ruby developer
• Deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework and popular ruby libraries (rspec, sidekiq, devise, …)
• Experience with developing, monitoring and maintaining APIs
• Solid understanding of OOP and TDD practices
• Experience with relational databases (postgres, mysql, …)
• Solid understanding of docker, kubernetes knowledge is a plus
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks
• Basic understanding of AWS and web application security
• Full professional fluency in English, German is a plus.
