This highly visible role as a
Senior Sales Manager (all genders) will enable you to be a key player in our commercial team and create a direct impact on the success of Qwist. You will build on your expertise in acquiring and building long-lasting, sustainable customer relationships with our prospects in finance and retail and showing how our products bring provable returns and benefits.

This position follows a hybrid working schedule with min. 2 days/week at the office, semi-regular in-person events and meetings onsite. We have 3 offices in Germany; one in the beautiful harbor city of Hamburg (Germany), the second in the Bavarian capital Munich (Germany) and the third one in the German capital Berlin (HQ). We come together twice a year to celebrate our successes together.
Your Role And Goals
- Acquire & Close. Due to your expertise in SaaS sales to businesses, you’ll expand the reach of Qwist in the market and attract new customers and partnerships together with the leadership body of Qwist. You will also work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales Operations and Legal & Compliance. You are an expert in enterprise sales and know how to build compelling business cases that prove value and allow you to close contracts effectively.
- Connect & Strategize. The relationships with our clients are built on long-term trust and success and you will contribute to an elevated sales strategy that allows us to respond to customer needs faster. Working with our Product team you will help us keep up to date with market trends and needs so that we continue to grow and improve.
- Reporting & Monitoring. You will ensure that you maintain a disciplined approach and keep records up to date and with all key information so that you are able to accurately forecast future business flows.
- Exposure and Communication. You manage the entire complex sales-cycle so you are comfortable presenting and interacting with C-level executives from both prospective and partner organizations. A hands-on individual, you are comfortable working with your colleagues to deliver presentations, product demonstrations and business cases to decision committees.
- Negotiation. As an experienced Sales Professional you know that you get what you negotiate and you are comfortable working with Purchasing and Legal departments to get to a successful conclusion.
- Travels. This role requires travel to visit customers and to attend industry-specific conferences and events. You are expected to independently decide when, how and where you will travel, as well as how often.
What you bring to the team:
- Experience & Tech Savviness. Current experience within a B2B SaaS (or IaaS, PaaS) Sales organization, ideally serving financial services or retail/ecommerce.
- Network & Relationships. You’ve been effectively optimizing your set of internal and external networks and know how to leverage C-level relationships which elevates your ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
- Communication & Presentation. Thanks to your impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, you not only can build trusted relationships quickly but know how to introduce complex digital products.
- Independence & Ownership. You bring a strong team-oriented work philosophy while being perfectly comfortable and taking on projects and work streams on your own and drive them to success.
- You want to be successful. And you want to work with products and teams that clearly strive for being the best in the market.
- Last but not leas.: You are business fluent in German (as you work with our clients in the DACH region) and in English.
