I am looking for a Network Enginner to work as part of the Application Delivery Team within the Platform Engineering and Cyber Security area. Reporting to the Cyber Security Platform manager the successful candidate will work to provide highly available websites to our customers, by employing top-of-the-class load balancing, DNS and Content Delivery Network services.
You will be responsible to engage directly with senior stakeholders and socialize the tools and services provided by Application Delivery team to the wider IT team through showcases and workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provision and maintain YNAP Load Balancer both in on-prem and cloud scenario and work with application development teams to implement and update configurations.
• Work closely with Architects and Cyber Security teams in order to ensure Application Delivery systems are properly designed and they are compliant with YNAP guidelines for scalability, reliability, availability and security.
• Provision, maintain and configure YNAP CDN and work with application development teams to implement and update configurations.
• Design, implement and maintain automations related to provisioning and configurations deployment.
• Review junior team members work and provide mentoring and pairing time.
• Work with application development teams, Architects, Cyber Security and brand teams (external) to define and implement solutions to integrate services and expose internal tools, assuring compliance with InfoSec guidelines.
Required Skills:
• 3+ year experience with network load balancing systems design and implementation (F5 BigIP platform). This is a must have.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP networking and routing concepts and HTTP/HTTPS protocol details.
• Excellent knowledge with DNS concepts and experience in DNS implementation;
• 3+ year experience with HTTP/HTTPS proxy, reverse proxy, and cache systems design and implementation (Apache Traffic Server, HAProxy, NGINX).
• Experience with Identity Provider integration and authentication protocols (SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, …).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good background in Linux systems.
