we are seeking a community lead risk management (f/m/x) who wants to play a pivotal role in shaping our risk management strategy and is passionate about driving the transition to clean energy.
navigating risk management in renewable energy
as our community lead risk management, you
develop and execute enspired’s overall risk management strategy and policies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations,
own the identification, evaluation, and monitoring of risks across all enspired activities, including credit, market, operational, liquidity, and strategic risks,
establish and maintain enspired’s risk appetite and ensure that risk limits are set and monitored effectively,
support and challenge enspired’s commercial areas with analysis of trading strategies by providing comprehensive quantitative and qualitative descriptions of risk/return potentials,
ensure sound trading activity by enhancing existing risk measures, policies, and guidelines,
successfully define, align, and implement risk mitigation plans and controls,
regularly present quantitative reports to stakeholders and management,
lead the risk community by providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities,
integrate risk management practices in collaboration with various communities of the company, encouraging cross-team cooperation,
take responsibility as a point of escalation if required.
Requirements
how you fit into enspired
you want to actively participate in the transition to clean energy and you
have at least a master’s degree in quantitative finance, statistics, economics, or similar fields,
have at least 10 years of experience in a related quantitative role, proven track record in the crypto/energy/algo trading field is a strong advantage,
have led a team of experts before,
offer strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools; professional certifications such as FRM and CFA are a plus,
have good IT skills, including Excel, preferably Python and/or R.
analytical, statistical, and problem-solving abilities are excellent, with proficiency in analyzing complex data,
can communicate, interact, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization,
are fluent in English, German is nice to have and
are a curious person with a good sense of humor.
