Job Description

Introduction to the vacant position:

The Pluripotency for organ regeneration Group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for a Post-doctoral Researcher to conduct her/his postdoctoral training whose main objective is to develop robust and reproducible human organoid models to study tissue development as well as genetic and systemic disease conditions.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Development of renal, cardiac and neural derivatives (among others) from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) in 2D and 3D cell culture settings making use of engineering approaches to establish new controlled microenvironments.
