Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze intrusions, events, and vulnerabilities across DISA Enterprise Boundaries.
Correlate data from network alerts, NetFlow, packet captures, and IDS/IPS logs to confirm malicious activity.
Utilize and tune boundary cyber defense platforms including Cisco FirePOWER and Arbor.
Maintain incident records in the DoD-mandated reporting structure and author Situational Awareness Reports.
Conduct deep-dive security analytics using Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and Elastic Stack.
Correlate endpoint telemetry and identity logs to establish attack kill chains across Zero Trust pillars.
Execute cybersecurity operations on the PACOM Mission Network (PMN) and Joint Operational Edge (JOE-CE).
Perform continuous monitoring of ICAM telemetry to identify Insider Threat indicators.
Coordinate in real-time with the DISA Joint Operations Center and USCYBERCOM to synchronize defense priorities.

Direct experience monitoring DISA boundary systems (IAP, BCAP, ERS, Thunderdome ZTNA)
Working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
Hands-on experience defending hybrid cloud architectures (Azure Gov/IL-6, AWS GovCloud, JWCC)
Familiarity with endpoint detection telemetry (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint/Server, EndGuard, Sysmon)

Newberry Group is seeking motivated to join our customer’s Network Assurance and Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) team supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency Pacific (DISA PAC) at Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. Operating under the Global Services Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) Task Order 22 (TN22) Boundary Cyber Defense and Cybersecurity Services Provider (CSSP) contract, this 24/7/365 watch cell serves as the premier frontline shield protecting the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN/DISN), U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM), and critical mission partner enclaves against sophisticated advanced persistent threats and nation-state cyber actors.
