Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our talented and highly skilled Security & Fraud Insights team at our global headquarters in Amsterdam. In Security & Fraud, we are dedicated to ensuring our customers, partners, employees, and company are protected while experiencing the world and doing their best work.

As a Data Analyst in Security & Fraud Insights, you will leverage your data skills and business acumen to make impactful contributions every day. You will partner with cross-functional teams to track business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop high-quality reporting and data sources that support stakeholders with actionable insights.

This role specifically involves supporting the successful execution of core control initiatives, including the creation and maintenance of automated reporting for core controls in alignment with the strategic priorities of our Security, Safety & Fraud Department.

We are looking for a passionate individual who can deeply understand our business processes, utilize data smartly to generate insights, and drive meaningful change that reduces costs and enhances performance. You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to security and fraud threats and their impact on the business.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate with teams across various business units, building positive relationships, and translating business needs into actionable reports, dashboards, and analyses.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports to help stakeholders understand their segment's performance, identify risks, and pinpoint actionable opportunities.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and communicate results effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organize and present findings to ensure stakeholders can make informed decisions.
  • Develop and maintain data processing workflows, debugging them as necessary.
  • Implement data controls and monitoring systems to improve the reliability of data and reports.


Role Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience in data analysis, with a proven track record in data management, visualization, and ensuring data quality.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Data Studio, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in at least one data analysis language (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience in designing and implementing key performance indicators.
  • Prior experience in a commercial environment, reporting on business performance and operations.
  • Ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical reasoning.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an open and collaborative attitude.
  • Knowledge of or background in risk & controls is a plus.
