Data Testing QA Engineer - U.S. Based Company - 100% Remote Position in LATAM in LATIN AMERICA

Integris Group has a top U.S. based client who has an immediate need for a "Data Testing QA Engineer" for a 1-year, 100% Remote contract opportunity. Our client is rapidly growing and the need to hire the Data Tester is immediate!!!

Business Challenge/what we will help solve: Company goal is to double valuation by 2025 in order to do this they need to be able to leverage their data as an asset. They currently do not have a Master Data Management Platform or Data Governance in place, without this, the company will not be able to scale as envisioned. Fixing their data warehouse will lead to better business (data consistency, better decision making, data protection, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and Test Plans for Data Warehouse schema changes, data pipelines, and data transformations.
• Utilize SQL and data manipulations tools to create test data sets for various testing scenarios.
• Validate Data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the data warehouse.
• Test data pipeline functionality, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure data pipelines meet performance benchmarks.
• Test data security measures and access controls within the data warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Analysts to understand data requirements and testing objectives.
• Document test cases, findings, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on data quality aspects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data testing tools and methodologies.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data Pipeline Testing or a related role focused around Testing Data.
• Proven experience in testing Data Warehouses and Data Pipelines.
• Strong understanding of SQL and Data manipulation Techniques.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (schema modeling, ETL/ELT processes) is preferred.
• Experience with data testing tools (e.g., data profiling tools) is a PLUS, not a must have.
• Experience with performance testing methodologies (e.g., load testing) is a PLUS, not a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
