Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) - Location: Berlin, Germany

Your Role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of the company’s infrastructure modernization efforts.

You will lead the migration from legacy systems to fully optimized AWS services and foster a DevOps culture across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include hands-on technical work, mentoring team members, and advocating for best practices in DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Modernization: Lead the migration of services to fully utilize AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• DevOps Advocacy: Promote and embed DevOps practices within the team, emphasizing automation and continuous integration.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform. Ensure automated configuration and management of environments.
• Kubernetes Management: Oversee deployment, management, and scaling of applications on Kubernetes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operational teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance. Proactively address potential issues.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

What You Bring:

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Proven track record of mentoring and guiding colleagues, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
