In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge development programs that drive our business forward.
Location: WesTrac Institute, South Guildford WA
Roster: Monday to Friday, 8 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Lead the creation and oversight of engaging development programs and activities.
- Specialist Advice: Provide expert guidance on learning and development needs related to content design.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor Process & Systems Trainers and Technical Writers to ensure top-notch delivery of content design projects.
- Vendor Management: Oversee external vendors to ensure they meet our high standards and deliver exceptional services.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with the broader Learning & Development teams to enhance their effectiveness within the People and Culture Team and the entire business.
To be successful the following is required:
- Tertiary level qualifications in the field of Human Resources, Organisational Development or similar; coupled with a experience in Organisational Development, Learning and Development, and/or Training
- Proven experience as an L&D Lead, Training Supervisor or similar
- Proven experience in implementing sustainable Learning and Development initiatives in large and complex organisations;
- Current knowledge of effective learning models such as ADDIE & Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Training Evaluation
- Advanced leadership/people management experience with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate teams across multiple projects and design areas
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), including negotiation and facilitation skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
- Effective planning and organisation skills to successfully coordinate multiple personnel and work activities simultaneously
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite including Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Visio as well as various training tools and programmes e.g. SAP Enable Now (SEN) / Articulate.
