Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of approximately 5 FPGA engineers.
Assign projects to direct reports and monitor tasks to ensure completion within technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
Provide personal development for direct reports by conducting performance reviews, mentoring, and monitoring career development.
Champion continuous improvement for FPGA activities within design and development processes.
Provide expert technical guidance and support to the team.
Derive requirements for FPGA design from system product specifications and interface protocols.
Use VHDL to create FPGA modules with a focus on reusability.
Participate in source code and design reviews.
Create and execute verification procedures.
Document designs, analyses, and verification results with accurate and concise reports.
Communicate effectively and collaborate as part of a team.
