AWS DevOps Engineer in UNITED KINGDOM

IMT Resourcing Solutions are partnering with a growing financial services business who embarking on building out their AWS estate. They are looking for an experience AWS DevOps Engineer to support them on this journey.

12 Month Contract and fully remote this contract will sit Outside of IR35

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes to achieve continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) across all environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and implement best practices for deploying and managing cloud-based applications.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures across AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and procedures, ensuring that knowledge is shared across the team.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, VPC, and network security.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified Developer are highly desirable.

Up to £600 per day Outside of IR35

Fully Remote

12 month contract with likely extension
