Key Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that load data from SIS, LMS, CRM, and third-party sources.
Build integrations through APIs, flat files and database connections, including scheduled and incremental loads.
Design and maintain the University data warehouse using dimensional modeling such as star schemas and conformed dimensions.
Tune SQL Server performance through indexing, partitioning and query optimization.
Build automated data-quality checks and reconcile warehouse figures against source systems.
Apply role-based access, encryption and masking to comply with FERPA, GLBA and University policy.
Deliver data sources and semantic models for Sigma and support report builders.
Translate stakeholder requests into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Use version control (Git), code review and change management for all pipeline and database code.
