Key Highlights
Founding security role for a Walmart-backed, high-growth ad-tech company scaling rapidly (doubling ad spend/headcount annually)
Define risk model, security roadmap, and enforce secure defaults in a cloud-native Kubernetes/GitOps environment
Own SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, AI security, and incident response while coordinating with Walmart’s cloud security teams
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement Vibe.co’s risk model across all major systems and set the security roadmap with clear priorities
Enforce secure defaults and guardrails in the cloud-native AWS/GCP environment, including Kubernetes and GitOps deployments
Own access management (onboarding/offboarding) and automate processes to reduce manual intervention
Lead vulnerability prioritization, remediation tracking, and security incident response from detection to resolution
Launch and manage Vibe.co’s private bug bounty program
Maintain SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and drive future compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, AI-specific regulations)
Develop and enforce AI security policies for both shipped products and internal tooling, including safe AI usage guidelines
Build a self-serve security posture for enterprise deals and coordinate with Walmart’s cloud security teams post-acquisition
Set practical rules for secure AI usage and conduct security awareness training to elevate company-wide security culture
