Key Responsibilities
Work with business users to gather functional and non-functional requirements
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation for complex modules and distributed systems
Drive best engineering practices including code reviews, design reviews, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and observability
Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
Write unit tests and integration tests with fully automated test coverage
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Break down complex business requirements into technical designs and actionable tasks
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and guide them through technical challenges
Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis and long-term fixes
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the existing tech stack
Document technical design and other technical documents based on project compliance requirements
