Key Responsibilities
Solve complex and varied business problems by analyzing data from internal and external sources and translating findings into actionable insights for decision-makers
Develop and maintain advanced data solutions using Python/PySpark, SQL, and Databricks
Build and optimize production-grade data pipelines with enforced schemas, validation gates, structured error logging, and reliable operational controls
Refactor and optimize Python/PySpark codebases to improve performance, maintainability, scalability, and reliability
Design and implement Databricks solutions using Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, scheduled jobs and workflows, and service principal authentication
Develop advanced SQL solutions, including stored procedure execution and read/write integration with SQL Server systems of record
Apply Git-based engineering practices, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
Translate business and project requirements into effective technical solutions while bridging communication between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams
Contribute to data engineering and analytics modernization through improved orchestration, data quality, observability, and engineering practices
Communicate complex findings, technical approaches, and recommendations clearly to senior and executive leadership
Collaborate across functions to ensure data solutions align with business priorities and deliver reliable, measurable value
