Costello Medical is seeking an experienced People Manager to lead and improve People processes across the employee lifecycle for its UK and Asia-Pacific regions. The role combines operational leadership, team development, employee relations guidance, and process-improvement initiatives, including automation and AI. Candidates need at least 3 years' HR management experience, UK employment law knowledge, and a track record of leading HR projects and systems.

Key Highlights
Lead and improve People processes across the employee lifecycle for the UK and Asia-Pacific regions
Manage, support and develop the People team while acting as the primary escalation point for employee relations
Drive process improvement, automation and AI adoption across HR systems and practices
Competitive salary of £50,000–£55,000 plus twice-yearly profit share bonuses and hybrid working
Key Responsibilities
Manage and continuously improve People processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, promotions, performance reviews, reward processes and offboarding
Provide guidance and support on people management and employee relations matters, acting as the primary escalation point within the People team
Monitor the HR service provided to employees across the company, including via People Shared Services, to ensure a high-quality, responsive service
Line manage and develop members of the People team, supporting their wellbeing, development and performance
Plan the team's workload, allocate tasks and projects, and balance competing priorities across the team
Manage HR software and systems, including the HRIS and performance management system, ensuring data integrity and effective usage
Lead and contribute to People-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including B Corp certification
Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and enhance People processes through the effective use of technology and AI
Ensure People policies, procedures and documentation remain accurate, compliant and fit for purpose
Monitor employment legislation and HR best practice in the UK and Asia-Pacific, implementing appropriate changes
Analyse People data and trends to identify and drive process improvements across the organisation
