On behalf of our public-sector client, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking three (3) experienced
Senior ServiceNow Service Catalog Consultants / Configuration Specialists with a demonstrated depth of experience with
ServiceNow to join our Client’s technology team on a
contract basis. This role is
99% remote with travel once per quarter to the Clients’ offices in Victoria, BC.
Project Summary: The role is in support of the Client’s Service Management Transformation Program (SMTP) - multi-year transformation of IT service management operations. The SMTP involves the implementation of the OCIO My Service Centre (My SC), a cloud-based IT service management tool powered by ServiceNow. The Client is implementing various modules of ServiceNow, with several already in production which include: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Order Management (Service Request, Request for Fulfillment, Service Catalogue), Service Asset and Configuration Management and Configuration Management Database (SACM/CMDB), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Field Services (FSM), Continuous Improvement (CIM) and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).

Experience
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in IT architecture, with a focus on the ServiceNow platform.
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow solution architecture, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM.
- Previous experience in leading and managing complex ServiceNow solution development.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing future state architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and its implementation.
- Experience in establishing and managing a Centre of Excellence or Architectural Board.
- Demonstrated experience with at least three (3) ServiceNow (or similar) implementation or upgrade projects
Technical Skills
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and other web development technologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
- Expert skills in Powershell.
- Expert skills in Server & Infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, and cloud providers with ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow’s licensing model.
Leadership Skills
- Lead and mentor a team of developers.
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITOM, ITSM, ITAM).
- Ideal candidates will have one of: Certified Workflow Architect, Certified Technical Architect, or Certified Master Architect.
Terms
This is a full-time contract role based. Work location is 100% remote with occasionally (every 2-3 months) travel to Victoria, BC.
The successful Candidate must reside in Canada for data-privacy reasons. The initial contract is 6 months with a strong probability for extension(s). Monday-to-Friday, PST working hours.
