Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade software applications using Go.
Build scalable, reliable, and secure backend services and distributed systems capable of supporting high transaction volumes.
Translate product and business requirements into robust technical solutions and participate in system architecture decisions.
Develop high-performance APIs, microservices, and gRPC services following idiomatic Go patterns.
Implement concurrent and parallel processing solutions using goroutines, channels, and synchronization.
Optimize application performance, scalability, resource utilization, and reliability.
Design and implement event-driven services and integrate with message brokers and streaming platforms.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design efficient schemas, queries, and caching strategies.
Develop resilient systems with retry, timeout, circuit-breaker, and graceful-degradation mechanisms.
Apply secure coding practices and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
Establish testing strategies including unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end tests.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to engineering teams.
Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Implement structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and observability capabilities.
Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes and work with CI/CD pipelines.
Develop applications for cloud environments and support deployment strategies like blue-green and canary releases.
Participate in capacity planning, load testing, and performance benchmarking.
Develop reusable libraries, SDKs, and frameworks to promote engineering standards.
Evaluate technical debt and prioritize refactoring and modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders in Agile activities.
Break complex technical requirements into manageable tasks and estimate development effort.
Keep current with developments in Go, distributed systems, and cloud computing.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.
