Key Responsibilities
Maintain and evolve the metrics tree, validating dashboards and writing clear specs for Data Engineering.
Own a single, locked definition for each metric and decompose the north-star metric down to the level each team can influence.
Conduct ad-hoc investigations into metric fluctuations and anomalies, identifying bottlenecks such as conversion drop-offs and segmentation issues.
Validate product hypotheses and perform data mining for non-obvious patterns and growth opportunities.
Design A/B tests including sample size, MDE, duration, and randomization split, while verifying split correctness and running sanity checks.
Report A/B test results with guardrail metrics and deliver actionable recommendations from each experiment.
Define data-tracking requirements, maintain the test archive, and proactively surface data-quality issues before decisions are built on bad data.
